Do not use this place, they will add fee's and charges to your account, and threaten to seize your stuff if you don't pay, or toss it in the street. They will explain away fee's as "insurance". They also will raise your rates with only the minimum legal time. Not a friendly company !!!!!
The only problem I have with this company is the little pay center is never working and the gates seem to always be broken as well.
FEES FEES FEES!!! Just a heads up to anyone that may be considering using Red Dot Storage for your storage needs. I attempted to make a partial payment on my account today, 16th. I called them to make this payment and was told that I cannot make a partial payment. It's all or nothing. Ok, great! Most often that's not a problem. But this time around I need to split it up... (I'm a paycheck to paycheck"er") so I can pay the balance by the next billing cycle. ON TOP OF THAT... I'm charged 2 late fees monthly! $10 the beginning of the month and $15 in the middle of the month. Stay away! Their customer service is sub standard and have no desire to work with their customers... even for a middle of the month payment!!
The facility and the customer service has become terrible since RedDot took over from the local owners. It is supposed to be a secured gated facility, however the security gates have been open and not working since April. We call contacted the company several times only to be told they are waiting on a part and have no idea when it will be repaired. An email about damage to our property was sent to the company, but no response was received. After 3 weeks, we called and were told to send another email with an invoice for the damages. Hopefully they will make this right. The prior owner was so nice to work with, sad that the place has gone downhill.
Great location, very helpful when we have had to call about gate issues and payment issues.
